oh the stories

I think Johnny could talk about Jerry every day all day.

But the most recent interesting story was that Jerry's cousin had his hand bitten off by a shark. But divers went and found his hand and they did surgery to reattach it.

Jerry

While Jerry's age has been a source of confusion for the many months since his first visit, I'm guessing that has something to do with the fact that he has lots of birthdays, sometimes several a week!
But he's somewhere between 4 and 48. He now tends to stay towards the lower end of that range since we told Johnny we couldn't let him play with some strange old guy! :)
Most recently Jerry has been about 6. He goes to school. He also has a blue Mohawk. When I find the picture Johnny drew of him recently I'll have to add it here.

But when Jerry first came around he stayed with us for some time. This was because Jerry's mom and dad were staying at a hotel waiting for his mom to have her baby. They were at a hotel because they lived on a farm very far from a hospital and there was a Dr at the hotel.
Recently I learned that in addition to the baby Jerry has several other siblings. In all there are 4 boys and 3 girls. (Maybe he comes to our house because its quieter LOL)

Oh and Jerry's diabetic. However I don't think he eats properly for his condition at all!!!

And so it began...

...our Journey with Jerry.

It was sometime at the end of 2007. Johnny was frustrated with his older brother never wanting to play what he wanted to. And I guess the impending addition of a baby brother was weighing on him. Throw in some media suggestion and we had Jerry. Jerry is Johnny's imaginary friend.
Jerry has become such a part of our life that we decided it was time to start documenting some of the stories about Jerry to be able to look back on someday.
